Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory is recruiting a Registered Vascular Technologist to be a part of our team. We are a private, full service vascular laboratory as part of General Vascular Surgery, serving inpatient and outpatient environments for board certified vascular surgeons, hospitalists and a wide outpatient referral base.

As part of the team, technologists perform non-invasive vascular testing including, but not limited to, cerebrovascular, upper and lower extremity arterial duplex and physiologic evaluation, upper and lower venous duplex, abdominal and renal artery, dialysis access evaluation and preoperative vein mapping. You will have close interactions with the vascular surgeons and your inputs are invaluable to them.

The position is Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS. You will be given the opportunity to learn and grow in the company as you demonstrate proficiency and responsibility. We are looking for a candidate who is a graduate of a 2+ year vascular program and an RVT; at least 1 year employment (post externship) is required.  Please have good transducer wielding skills, firm knowledge of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and pathology. Candidate must be passionate about vascular technology, work well as part of a team, have outstanding professionalism and customer service skills as well as have strong computing and keyboarding skills.

Vascular Sonographer/Technologist – Full Time
Swedish Health Services – Swedish Heart & Vascular and Neuroscience Institutes Seattle, WA

The Swedish Vascular Ultrasound Department in beautiful Seattle, Washington is seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Sonographer to join our team. This is an opportunity to utilize your skills in peripheral, visceral and carotid examinations while developing expertise in neurovascular transcranial Doppler exams. Mentoring and instruction provided by expert staff in advanced applications of transcranial Doppler and support provided to achieve the Neurovascular Specialist Credential. The lab is located in a 200 bed specialty hospital supporting the Swedish Heart & Vascular and Neuroscience Institutes. The program is accredited by IAC in all five specialties

Experience & Skills:
Three years working independently performing peripheral, carotid and visceral studies; experience writing preliminary reports and preparing final reports, experience performing exams for inpatients, outpatients and during surgery preferred.

Requirements:
Completion of a training program accredited by the American Medical Association – Committee on Allied Health Education (AMA-CAHEA) for vascular ultrasound and current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent education/experience.

Experience in cerebrovascular, peripheral venous, peripheral arterial and abdominal duplex evaluations is required. Experience in transcranial Doppler examinations is a plus. Must drive own vehicle, be flexible with schedules and able to participate in oncall/afterhours rotation.
