Summary of the first quarterly meeting
The speaker was Kirk Beach, Phd, MD of the University of Washington and his topic was on:
"Measurements of the Microcirculation and Tissue Perfusion from the Vulnerable Plaque to Incipient Venous Ulceration"

It included breakfast and drew about 20 attendees from around Puget Sound for 2 1/2 hours of lecture, meet and greet, and a display of software from MEDStreaming's CEO Wael Elseaidy who specializes in healthcare information technologies. (phone: 425-241-9287, )

Dr. Beach's lecture discussed new research on ultrasound vibrometry and its potential clinical applications. It generated much discussion and interest.
